PP

Usually to your spouse
(to buy some peace in the house)
You (half-heartedly) endow with a laugh
-- that which I to my sister say
that 'you are my better half'

She's sharp, smart & breezy
A go-getter, who makes it look easy
A natural leader, she's always center
-- And from one keen to absorb
She's transformed now into a mentor

She's quite alive with a lot of enthu
Dancing, painting - a million things she's always into
But hello, beware her hidden claw
-- She'll cut you with words coz
she's the fiercest feminist you ever saw

Along with some sugar & a lot of spice
She also has, y'know, nerves of ice
Unfazed, she's rather strong
 -- Resourceful as well;
finds a way out before long

Now siblings are a kind of mirror image
So while we might also have similar plumage
We're as different as chalk from cheese
-- She being the voice of reason
navigating life with an innate ease

Well, in sum, she's a winner in life
Keeping it simple, keeping it lithe
Loved by some, respected by all
And I hope she finds euphoria no less
-- a life well lived, as deep, as tall
